Manifest & Mental Health with Nicky Scorpio of The Sophisticated Psychos

Manifest & Mental Health with Nicky Scorpio of The Sophisticated Psychos
She's All Over The Place Podcast Season 2 - Episode 13 Transcription Thank you so much for tuning into She's all over the place with Kyriaki, that's me. Hey everyone. Thanks so much for being here. I appreciate you so much. Thank you. Thank you so much to my 700 new subscribers. It's so insane. And the last two weeks I've had 700 new subscribers and wow, thank you so much for being here. And yeah. So this is the last week of October, 2020 has been quite the year, right?

Yeah. So being in the last week of October, it's an exciting time, you know, Halloween we're in the last quarter of the year and it's like, we really want to take time to manifest and focus on our goals and our dreams and my producing partner, music partner, dear friend.
And I don't know what else you would call him, but Nicky Scorpio here is a man of many words and he is just a wonderful, wonderful person. And I sincerely love him dearly. He's so, so sweet. His birthday is October 30th. So I invited him on the show to be on she's all over the place. I want to honor him and his journey thus far as an artist, he has an amazing song called Manifest. That's actually available for me to put on the podcast. So I definitely want to have that on for his special birthday week. He's working on his new EAP. That's actually recorded.
It's just in mixing and mastering right now and who I'll let him tell you about that more when he's on. But yeah, this episode is going to be focused on manifestation and mental health. And Nicky is really big into mental health as a minor. So that's what we're going to focus on manifestation and Mental Health with Nicky Scorpio. So with no further ado, let's have Nicky on what's up, what's up Nicky, how are you doing?
Hey, what's up? You are killing it. And I just wanted to say, thank you for having me on your show. And I'm a huge fan and I've been watching you grow and go, and it's exciting. And I believe in you, and it's cool to see you, you know, build this from the ground up and you know, you've manifested this yourself. So congratulations.
Ah, thank you. Thank you. Yes. Speaking of October 29th. Oh my God. The 27th, this will release, but the 29th will be one year that I started my podcast. Wow. Yeah, it's been quite the journey, you know, one year. Yeah. Well, well maybe we can get into more of that later, but wow. One year it'll be one year of starting the podcast and now we're in season two. We're almost in the middle of season two and yeah, you know, I really honor and appreciate you because in our partnership and something that's really important for you is consistency. You know, I ran cross country growing up and I was consistent with certain things and through the journey and along the way, I just feel like I did become inconsistent with some things.
And I feel like I lost some discipline. So I want to thank you because I've been really consistent in a lot of areas of my life and, you know, being who you are, you know, a deep, deep, true friend, important person in my life who just loves me so much, you know, so many rich colors about me knowing me before I even knew some things about myself or just like, maybe sometimes you go on a journey and you know, you lose yourself. You were a person in my life to really bring me back to myself and, you know, hold space for me. And I'm really, really grateful for you.
Thank you. Yeah. I mean, I think that's one of the things that, you know, we're starting to get out of all of this is that you're seeing more community and more people coming together. Families are talking a little bit more and you know, and I, and I think that that's needed. I think that we need to have people around us right now talking about mental health, you know, depression and anxiety and, and things of that nature are, are only on the rise right now. And so we really need to, you know, besides just being kinder to one another, you know, is that we need to really be there for other people, even if it's just sending a text message or calling someone if it's forgiving someone. And especially if it's a difficult one to forgive that we get people around us who see blind spots, and then we get reminded of who we are.
We lose ourselves along the way. That's part of the beauty is that, you know, we find ourselves and yeah, I'm grateful for you too. You've definitely brought out the best in me. And you know, I think there's something to be said about. Yeah. Just having people around you that celebrate you and, you know, and call you out when you're, when you're, you know, getting into your lower level of vibration.
Yeah. And speaking of what you just said, I feel like a lot of people are really hesitant resistant to eradicating, you know, the toxicity and the negative things. And they're really scared to confront those things. But actually, if you look at it as a canvas, the sooner you clean it up and confront the person and the thing you don't want to do, the sooner you do it, the sooner you clear the crap off the canvas, you like literally energetically clear your space. So then you have a clear white space. So then you can leave room for rainbows and the abundance and the good things that you want in your life instead of being, you know, stuck in and holding on to things that you don't want that are just continuously still there.
Well, I think, you know, since we're talking about Manifesting, I think it goes hand-in-hand with, with what you're talking about, right? It's like a lot of times when we're looking at a chapter in our life, we're looking at it as if it's the only chapter and we're looking at is this page, like it's the last page or, you know, that, that this page is going to completely define, you know, this book that's our lives. I feel like people need to have that. I think that's where faith comes into play is, is just really anchoring in, in, in who you are. And, you know, saying, I mean, we're, we're living in a society. That's constantly comparing every single thing and every single person and every single belief, there could be more acceptance within that. I think that, you know, we need to, you know, really anchor in, in, in who we are and to be able to, you know, Manifest incomes from, from really believing beyond everything that exists within your world.
And I think, you know, I think it's a great time to talk about this right now, because you know, with all of the changes going on, there's a lot of fear. There's a lot of uncertainty and I think that there's greatness, that's coming out from all of this. And I think that there's a way that we can really tap in some more of who we are instead of just this, you know, this rat race that we've been in,
You know, a lot of people in their minds, they're probably thinking right now, well, yeah, well, what do I do? How do I do it? You know? And I know that came up for me, especially if it's like, okay, you're listening to someone talk about it. And they want to dive deep in. So something I would like to offer is Abraham Hicks. If you go to YouTube, Hey, Abraham Hicks, Esther Hicks. She's amazing. She's like the go-to guru for manifestation. You can just get it on, repeat, replay, all that jazz. There's so many, you can follow her on all social is on Instagram. The YouTube, I think is the best one for a visual and audio when you're alone or you're stuck. Or if you feel like you're alone and stuff, that's a good discipline and practice. I know she's on my radar and I want to dive deep into just some of her teachings in brush strokes here and there.
What about for you? What are some go-tos for you for manifesting?
I feel like it's important to say I'm not an expert. I'm not a master within this. I also feel like at the same time, a lot of times the best teacher is someone who's just learned because it's so fresh in their mind. And for me, the reason why I'm so big into this is because, you know, right now, especially, it's like an exciting game that you can play, you know, within yourself that you really don't even have to share with anyone else. If you're looking for like a healthy long-term goal to focus on something, right? Like I wanted to have people around me and Entertainment that get what I'm doing. Because as many people who are listening to this know Entertainment has a lot of, there's a lot of secrets. There's a lot of things that people can't talk about. And, you know, there's a lot of people that, you know, have been taken advantage of.
And so I wanted to have people around me that, that get the importance of what I'm doing, because I know that the money comes. I know my destiny and, you know, there might be people that would question that, but I know for me, I know what my destiny is. And my destiny is in one word is greatness. And so I want to have people around me that when I'm being ecentric, that when I'm being different in whatever I'm being, that I can get that encouragement because there's so much in this world that could have a human being second guessed and doubt themselves. I found an amazing team and I have an amazing group of people around me, shout out to burn it down group. I have people in my corner that are looking at everything that's going on. And when I'm talking, when I'm sharing my opinion, we're on the same page.
I have ethical people around me. I have good-hearted people around me that, that everyone needs to have a voice. And that took, that took a while. And the thing with manifestation is that people listen to these concepts about like the law of attraction and then they, and then they just think that that that's it. But what they don't realize underneath that is the reference that I give is, is kind of like, let's say that you're wearing your, your there's a shirt, or there's like a pair of jeans or something that you want. And they don't quite fit you. They're a little bit tight, but you know that you can fit them when you're putting on, you know, these jeans at first, it's difficult to get into them because they don't quite fit. But then when you get into them, you look at yourself in the mirror and you're like, wow, like I look amazing, right?
So if you're listening to a tape or if you're listening to someone say you can have a million dollars, and then in your mind, you're like, I'm going to be a millionaire. Then that little voice comes in and says, are you sure? Are you sure you can't have a million dollars? And then you don't even realize, but that little voice has just kind of ruined that moment. So the inner critic, so, right. So what I do, so what I do is I will visualize what I want. And then when I hear that voice for whatever it is that I want, if it comes in, it doesn't always come in and it's gotten quieter and quieter. And you know, we're starting to have healthier conversations when that inner critic does come in, I will turn up the brightness. I will turn up the saturation, I'll turn up the color, I'll turn up the volume. I will get closer.
I will make, when I want closer to my mind in my mind's eye. And I will make it more obvious and more real than anything else around me. And I will focus on that. And then I will start using my, my senses. So like, I will, I'll smell how the air smells, I'll feel how I feel. I will, you know, taste anything, whatever it is that I want, I will be as close as I can in that moment. So that it's real. So I feel like for someone who's beginning, who's interested and curious about Manifesting. It's not that you just say, like, I want to be a millionaire and I want to be an influencer and I want to have a blue check and I want for people to love me. And I want to have a healthy relationship. You need to have a really, really strong why I personally feel like it needs to be for a good reason.
Like you can't say I want to have $5 million so that my mom will stop bothering me. You know, it, it needs to be like, you know, that you're doing something, you know, with whatever it is that you're looking for. And, and that you believe that you're worthy of having it. And again, that's where patients comes into play, where, you know, you can, you can take the time and you have that long-term goal where you're saying like, I'm going to have this thing and I believe it, and I'm worthy of having it. So, I mean, for me, there's, there's a lot of different people that I could list off. We could definitely share some links for people that, you know, the, that I definitely am into share in the show notes. I'll definitely put some links. I would just say start off simply by, you know, every single day for just a couple of minutes when you start your day off and if you're traveling or if you're staying at home, if you have two minutes, even if you're like in the shower, just take a couple minutes and just close your eyes and just focus on something daily, you know, start off for a week and then go for a month and then go from there, but think about something that you want.
And then just really feel what it feels like to, to be in that environment, to have whatever it is, and then smile and enjoy it and feel that excitement.
Thank you. Thank you for sharing. Also, you have a song called Manifest and we're going to play it at the end of the episode here. Tell me more about the song Manifest, what it means for you. Let us know what's up. What's up with Manifest.
Yeah. I grew up in a very diverse neighborhood and city, Berkeley, California, shout out to Berkeley, my hometown and you know, and even, you know, I've lived in New York for wow. Close to like 10 years now on enough. And because I grew up with such diversity, I have a pretty broad perspective on what's normal. I really feel like everyone deserves to have a voice and deserves to have a seat at the table. So when I wrote this song, I want to get past the politics. I want to get past people's religious beliefs or non-religious beliefs. I want to get past all of these things that, you know, divide us and to focus more on the things that bring us together.
If we're collectively one thing, I am a big believer in as a power of prayer. I'm big into the power of thought. You know
About you, every meal we've had together, we frayed, and I love your words and the power of prayer. And I'm really big into prayer. And it's one of the things I really admire about you.
I believe that there's an activation that happens. You know, it's the same thing with manifestation. So you know that with Manifest, I really want to get past all of these things that divide us. I'm really big into the power of prayer. And I've seen and have read and heard about, you know, cases where when people come together, that they can change things. My childhood friend, Liz Simba, I've known him since I was five months old. He had a tumor in his head, the size of a grapefruit. And he used to get really, really terrible headaches when he was younger. And my grandmother started a round, the clock prayer circle, and it was, it was miraculous that he healed. And now he's a father of three and he's, he's nailing it.
He's, he's doing great. And he's a beautiful, beautiful soul. I believe if we can, as community, as like-minded people beyond all of these things, maybe you don't believe in the same God. Maybe you don't have the same feelings in certain things, you know, but if we can come together and say like, you deserve to have happiness, I deserve to have happiness. You know, that, that we can focus on that. If we can collectively focus on that, then we can change it. So instead of me pointing my finger and saying, when this person becomes president, it's going to change when this person is present and it's going to change. Or, you know, when you know my girlfriend or when my teacher or whoever it is, it's frustrating you when they change. No, like I want to keep it internal and to reflect that out.
So Manifest Manifest is really saying like, beyond all the stuff that you're going through, if you're going through a hard time and chances are right now, you are, and that's okay that you can take time when you're angry, when you're sad, when you're upset and you can focus all of that energy from a place of love, not from anger, not to show someone else that you're better or whatever, but from like a really healthy, positive place that you can say, I'm going to do this and I'm going to have it, and I'm going to shine and I'm going to glow. And it doesn't matter if I don't know the right people. It doesn't matter if I don't have the contacts. It doesn't matter if I don't have the money I'm going to do it. And I don't need to tell people because they're going to bring fear into my life. And I don't need that fear. I'm just going to do it. And if you believe me, come with me, if you don't enjoy the ride baby, so
Cool. Cool. Well, I'm so excited for people to hear Manifest. Y'all cannot hear it on the streaming services yet. So this is the only place you're going to be able to hear it. It's a powerful song. Actually. ShawMan Derek shout out to sham and Derek, the homie. He has a really cool podcast. He put it on his podcast like a month ago, the ancient wisdom podcast. So that was really cool. Yeah. So thank you for being on the show and sharing about Manifesting with us. Happy birthday to you. This is one of your gifts for me, honoring you as an artist and having you on to share. And we're announcing Nicky Scorpio is going to somehow have his own podcast.
So I'm, I dunno what that's going to look like or anything. It's a new thing where right now we're in the podcast movement. It's a virtual, it's the virtual podcast movement it's been going on since 2014. It's the first year that it's going to be virtual and we're in it right now. It goes to the 29th. So when you hear this, they'll only be two days left, but they're having everything recorded. So there's playback. So I'm sure you can still jump in and get involved and see the playbacks and everything. I've met so many cool people, the one person Rob Greenlee, he's the VP content and partnership of Lisbon. And he's the chair of the podcast academy. Like how cool is that? Like the Oscars for podcasts?
Like he's on the chair, he's in the podcast hall of fame. He's so dope. We've like connected so much during, you know, just these last couple of days. I'm definitely going to have him on the podcast. I'm a part of a really cool podcast group for women only it's called She podcasts and the woman, the creator, they had a party, she hosted a party, the opening of the podcast, virtual. She was a speaker and she actually also has a podcast called the feed with Rob's partner, Rob Walsh. I believe his name is I haven't met with him yet, but a podcast, I guess it's called the feed and it's all about podcasting. So I definitely am going to subscribe and heap learning more of that. I've met all these really cool people and they have panels for people of color.
And there were like 200 people in the, in the panel. It was ABC and Aaron, a king Howard. He goes by eight king. He's a part of the louder speaker network. And Nicky and I went to this like 15 year annual hip hop conference. It was in Atlanta a couple of years ago. We met Rob stone who created the fader. He right in front of us, I sat front and he told us his story of how he created the fader with his partner. And it was just like, I was in tears and got chills and we connected, but aching was there on another panel. And then I went to New York and he had us in the offices, took us around, introduce us to the owner and to the homies and stuff. It was really cool. Like we connected with premier P yeah, just circling back around.
He was on the panel and they were talking about like people of color. And there were, I was in the chat. There was like 170 people. And during the pandemic and the riot, and I was like, how can I be an advocate? What can I do to hold space as a producer, as a human being. And I'm like, you know what? I had this idea. I'm like, let me create like this improv show or something. And I have all African-Americans. I produce it, the writer, director, actors, everyone, half African-American. And although in my head, the idea came and in my mind I had from like a to Z figured out it's a lot of time and energy to produce it. And then there's life. And like all the other things that are happening well through this, I was thinking deeply since I planted the seed back in like March and April, I planted the seed like, oh, like, what if I produce an honor this on a podcast where I hire African-American people, writers, directors, and actors.
And I create a podcast. And I was even talking with the VP for content and partnerships at Lisbon with Rob Greenlee. And so we're going to talk more about it. And so this could actually come to fruition. So talking about Manifesting, right? So sometimes you have an idea or you plant a seed for something, and it might not be right now, the good timing, but you plant a seed for it and it could burst. It could just keep, you know, keep watering it, keep nurturing it, keep watering it, and then it could turn into something. So this is exciting. It's coming full circle again. And so I feel like all these things that kind of come full circle, I think it's things that you're manifesting over time and through energies, energy is energy and motion, right? Energy emotions. So when you're Manifesting, it's not just like, oh man is fasting.
Poof. It's there when it is poof, it's there. It's okay. When was the seed actually planted? Right. You manifest. And then it comes into fruition through energy, through the repetition and the consistency of, you know, what Nicky was talking about. Yeah.
There's, there's no overnight successes. When people see someone was like, well, who is this person where they come from? I think also, you know, cause a lot of people talk about this, like law of attraction and Manifesting and stuff like this, you know, the main ingredient within Manifesting is you definitely, you got to put in the effort, you have to hustle. You have to, you know, show the world that that's who you are. If you want to have good people around you, you know, you can't scheme on other people and do all these other things expecting that you're going to have good people around you. You need to consistently be a good person, especially when it's hard to be. So yeah. Good on you. It's definitely, it's exciting. You know, and, and you've, you've inspired me to talking about podcasts and we've been doing a lot of education during these interesting times and we signed up and we're listening to Sean Cannell, who, anyone who knows about Sean Cannell, who's on YouTube knows that he and his team think media is amazing.
And they shared a lot of great information and that lit me on fire. And I started thinking, you know, cause everything in the entertainment industry has completely turned upside down right now. I'm like, no, one's really touring. People are kind of starting to perform. And I was thinking like, you know, at the root of everything that I'm doing, what is it like, what's the message like, what do I stand for at the very core? I've always really been big into mental health because I've learned because I hang out with a very, very, again, diverse group of people, people from all different beliefs and value systems and class levels and everything. And I've been able to see the humanity and you know, all of these people, especially that, you know, people like me might not really hang out with other people because they have weird limiting beliefs about them.
And I've been able to find connections with people where maybe there wasn't a connection before there's really a need right now, especially in entertainment to really talk about mental health. And so I realized I'm going to start a podcast because I've been doing video contents already because there are so many artists out there there's so many creative people out there. But typically what happens is that you get an artist, right? The artist hustles, whatever they do to, to get to that place. And then all of a sudden they find themselves, they have success and there's two different scenarios I'm gonna play out for you. So there is a person who gets a success, they hustle, they get the success and all of a sudden like they're killing it and they're known everywhere and everyone's just loving them. And the challenge in that scenario can be that person doesn't have people around them that really have their best interests.
Like they see the flashy lights, they see the money, they see the fame and the success, but they don't see the human in that person. They don't see it. This is a human being that has feelings and thoughts and dreams and goals that are bigger than, than money. And so a lot of times you see artists very, very, very talented artists overdose, you know, and, and find themselves in really bad places, mentally, physically, financially. And it's simply because the company that they kept there, wasn't anyone saying like, Hey, you need to rest. You need to take care of yourself.
See them as a dollar sign. They see the ego, the superficial par they're insecure. They're making money off of them there. Yeah. Yeah.
So that's, that's, that's a major issue in anyone who's who's in Entertainment knows this is a very common occurrence. I feel like people need to, if these people, if, if we could look at a different scenario and imagine that person, if they had someone who was really able to speak with them and help them out, you know, what that would look like. And then the second scenario would be for the hundreds of thousands of artists that are out there that are upcoming, that are building their career and building their platform and building their resume, et cetera, and have these big dreams and these goals and these aspirations. And it's the same scenario is that they have, and I experienced this when I was coming up that I really wanted to make music and art with a meaning I really wanted to, I'm a seeker, I'm a truth seeker.
So that, that means I have friends that are shamans. I have friends that are hardcore Christians. I have, I have people in my life that, that do ceremonies that, you know, travel and do interesting things that other people might not understand. But I'm curious about it because I want to know really who I am and what I'm capable of and how powerful we are as human beings to share that with other seekers like myself and I had people along the way that would laugh at me. I had people that when I really started to have more confidence within myself, completely, completely and totally turned on me. And, and I've had in, in, in this month alone, I've had three different people that, that I knew when I started making these, these videos and started making content, helping out people that actually ask to say like, Hey, I wanna, I don't know anything about meditation or like I have anxiety.
Can you do some, can you show me something? Can you make a video? I had three different people in my life telling me that. I think that, that I'm better than them. And that hurts. It hurts. It's hard. It's, it's easy. When it's a YouTube comment, you can just remove it or you can just keep it pushing. But when it's somebody who's close to you, you know, that's, that's telling you that about your character when they're attacking your character. That's hard.
And so, sorry. I'm so sorry to hear that. And I know I won't get into details of the details, but you know, I've been there to support you and heard some of the things and yeah, it's tough. It's difficult. And it was deep down. It's so deep down because I've known you for eight years now, you know, you're such a positive person and you're so loyal and kind, and you would do anything for anyone, people you don't even know, it's just in your character and who you are. And now, you know, you're amazing at editing and making music. And you're so talented in so many areas and you're doing these things and yet people finally reached out to you and they're like, Hey, can you show me this? Can you show me that? And you thought, whoa, let me just make a quick video.
You know, you're you do a video and you're servicing other people. What other people want? You know, you're doing it selflessly. And you know, it's something that you like to do. And then these people reached out and they're just like hating on you. And you hear from Gary V and from, you know, so many successful people that, you know, these people will come out of the woodworks and they'll love, or they're hate you. And just like when it's family and the people so close to you, and this happened, especially like, it's your birthday month right now. You know? I mean, but I know you, it hurts. It hurts deeply. And you've been through a lot. So you're really tough. And so obviously, you know, hurt people, hurt people. And I know you have a lot of compassion for these people and you know, also they can just like watch you from a distance.
And it's good that this is like we were talking about earlier with Manifesting, it's better to confront and eradicate these things even like on a subconscious level, like maybe you knew these things about these people, but actions speak louder than words and you took action. And now they're showing who they are. And it's best, even though it hurts, it's best to eradicate these people because then there's, you're going to create even more space and do greater things. And, you know, well, I
Mean, it fired me up even more actually to keep on going. So there's a silver lining in them and I'm grateful for that. And I thank those people for that. And also it's not easy to do this. Like you having this podcast, it's not easy. It's not that you just turn on a microphone and that's it. It's, it's not just like, oh, I'm in a good mood right now. And every day is perfect for me. And this is, and this is an easy breezy thing. It's the reason why, and this is why I'm doing what I'm doing is because there are many people out there that are like you and I, that don't have a community of people, or they don't know where to look to understand these concepts of like, when people are saying negative things about you, it's because they're projecting their own fear and their own insecurity onto you because they didn't have, you know, whatever it took to, to get to where they want.
If we were as a race, as a human race, we're able to, as a species, we're able to really, you know, be who we wanted to be. We wouldn't recognize ourselves. And so for me, I'm doing this and again, not, not as some expert, I don't have a master's degree. I didn't go to college for psychology, but I feel like right now, more than ever, we need to be sharing information with people and we need to pass along what we know. We need to pass that wisdom along so that, you know, we can keep growing and evolve.
Yeah. Well said, well said, oh, the thing that you mentioned, I wanna rewind a bit, the thing you mentioned about like, oh, how people are projecting it onto other people. Well, when you're doing that, when you're projecting you're so one is so blindsided that they're doing it. It's really confusing. It's, it's so hard. Like, it's so easy for someone to, if someone, let me give a small example of someone's just walking down the street, it's so easy to say, oh my God, look at them. Or if they're walking down the street and you see something, it's so easy to judge and say something, right. It's so easy to do that, but you don't know the layers behind the layers. Right? You don't understand the layers behind the layers. We don't ha we don't put yourself in someone else's shoes. It's a difficult thing to do, right.
Maybe for some it's easier, maybe for some it's not. So when one is saying, oh, the projections happening, they don't understand on a psychological level, how to break that down, you know, like, can you share a bit about that?
I feel like there's, there's people that are more fluid and there's more people that are more kind of like solid, right? And so when someone comes in, who is very fluid into someone's life, who's very solid. When that fluid person makes fluid moves, it can shake up that person who is solid. And what I'm talking about more is more in the realm of astrology. So like when someone's more of a water sign, you know, and you're dealing with someone who has a lot of earth energy when you're, when you're doing these different things, that person who is very earthy might look at that person who's moving around and trying new things. And, and just being like, wow, I would never do such a thing that I would never do such a thing. And then, you know, someone like myself finds out that, that person, this is, this actually happened.
Like the, one of the people who was saying something about me was basically within days, like doing kind of like same thing, trying to do the, kind of like a similar thing, like trying to like message people to promote her own thing. And so that's what it is. So to answer your question projecting is basically, it's like, you go onto social media, right? And again, right now the economy is changed. The whole world has changed. And so you're looking and you see someone who's an entrepreneur and they're successful. And let's say like, you want to get like groceries and you have to get limited groceries because you're on a budget right now, when you're unemployed. If you're looking at that person, who's traveling, who's in Greece right now, where they're on like a boat.
And you're, you're typing in all caps because they should be social distancing and stuff like that. That's your frustration that you don't feel happy. If you can understand this at a simple level, anytime you're dealing with someone and your angry, there is always a deeper reason. And if you can understand that, then you can reclaim your power. You can get your power back by understanding that your putting your own fear and your own insecurities onto another human being. If you can step into that human beings, feet into their life and really share their emotion, maybe you don't understand what it's like to be an artist. Maybe, you know, maybe you've never been in the entertainment industry and you don't ever want to, because it doesn't appeal to you. But if you have someone in your life who does want to be an entrepreneur who does want to be like a Gary V or anyone for that matter, who, who has big dreams and goals and aspirations that don't, you know, go along with your own beliefs.
If you can just understand that that person is excited, then you can build from there.
Thank you to take it a step further, I guess, to take it a step deeper. Okay. Before going into someone else's shoes. Cause that's one way to do it that you just said. Now another split approach was if you're sitting in your anger, right? If you're sitting in your anger and if you could go deeper into your anger or your rage, what's underneath, that is sadness. So rage and anger is a mask for sadness. Anger, and rage is a mask for unprocessed emotions, right? So there's these unprocessed emotions with stuff that's happened in our past circumstances. And so when you're looking at another and you're judging or your inner critic, or you're getting angry and you're getting upset, it's something deep down within self that's unprocessed.
So like Nikki said, he's not a psychologist either. Am I? We're just really into mental health. We're into just sharing our experiences thus far and, you know, gifting, you insight along our journeys. And I, with that, I would like to say, please subscribe. If you're not already subscribing to the podcast, I would definitely like you to Follow Nicky Scorpio on all platforms. His Instagram will be in the show notes. Yeah. Anything else you want to share? Nicky on mental health?
That was well said. I, I really we're living right now in a culture that people don't often respect that someone else has a different belief or has a different opinion. And I think right now, you know, we're, we're in a political season right now. There's constantly every single day. There's, there's something going on. It's a soap opera that we're in right now. And people are just sharing articles and just bashing people who don't share their belief. And I don't believe that we were raised this way. I believe that we were raised better than this. I think, and feel that we need to challenge ourselves to embrace other people's differences in the same way we want for people to embrace our differences. And if you don't think you're different, well, I got news for you.
You're just about as different as they come. And that's what makes us all the same. And if we can, and if we can start at that point and really, you know, embrace that, I think that that we'll have a better life and you know, and we can build and grow from there.
It's only one year and there's only one Nicky Scorpio and there's only one key to get key. There's only one me. There's only one. You, no matter what, like if you go out for a voiceover audition up against 10 guys, 500 guys, no one's going to do what you do. Some people may have your sound, but they're not going to have your empathy, your compassion, your experience, all your wacky voices. If you all want to hire Nicky Scorpio, he's with Vox in LA I'm with Vox in LA, shout out to Vox. I love my Vox team. Yeah. So with that being said, thank you so much for tuning into she's all over the place. I'm so grateful that you're here. I'm so grateful. Oh, also I wanted to share with you on the mental health tip.
I love Dr. Joe Dispenza. You can just Google YouTube, Dr. Joe Dispenza. He has a lot of videos you can watch. He has a few books out right now. You can follow him on all the social. Media's also Gregg Braden Gregg with two GS Gregg. Braden is amazing. You have to tune into Gregg. Braden. Yeah. They're amazing scientists, please subscribe. Oh, what I wanted to share with you? So Nikki was speaking about astrology not too long ago. And I found this podcast recently and it's like, I was just like looking at different podcasts and it's a podcast that's 15 minutes or less. And I was like, oh, okay, cool. And it, this astrologer was talking about just this past week, how he was talking about Hertz and frequencies, the planet about sound frequencies, Hertz.
And he was saying right now on a planetary level, the frequencies are at an all time low, the lowest they've ever been in like the whole entire existence.
I knew it. I wasn't going to say anything, but man, a lot, a lot, a lot of take a lot of time to meditate and to deep breathe in to just be alone and digest. If you got to cry or just be by yourself or just read a book or just whatever, then
Detox definitely detox. So he also talks about this website. I have to find it or put it in the show notes, but he talks about this website and you can, it's in Russian it, they do it in Russia. So you have to have your Google translate it, but it tells you the frequencies of the planet. And so I'm just learning about it now. But anyhow, what I wanted to share with you is I just released my first solo EAP on forgiveness and Nicky and I have a brand together called the Sophisticated Psychos. So if you go to YouTube, you can see all the music videos that he edited. And then he had this vision for the beats that I made. And he introduced me to Eric Thompson who owns subtle energy.
He gave me a list of all these different frequencies and I looked him over and immediately months ago when I saw them 6 39 hurts healing frequency stuck out to me, 6 39 hurts healing, frequencies, fosters, forgiveness, peace, and love, and the relationships as well as stimulates the higher heart chakra 6 39 hurts reconnects and rebalances your relationships, not only with other people, but with yourself. So I think it's such an apropos time to release this EAP. I'm so excited about it. So just go to the Sophisticated Psychos on any music streaming platform, and you can hear the hypnotic energy EAP, you're going to love it.
And I'm so grateful. I just like, you know, giving it to like a bunch of my friends. I sent them the link and I got, I woke up this morning and when I looked at my phone, my friends, like my friend Sam hook, he's won Grammy's and he's a huge song writer, like amazing boss guy that Nicky Scorpio needs to connect with for music and hip hop and stuff. But yeah, he's like, yo man, he's like, it's been a I'm jam and all morning it's been on repeat all morning. I'm just getting like these texts and messages, my cousin, he's like, yeah, I'm listening to it right now. He's like, it reminds me a little bit of Nintendo growing up and just to hear all these personalized comments from people who I really love and admire. And they've, you know, been along my musical journey since the beginning.
It's just, it really, really touches my heart, you know, on an individual level, I grew up in the electronic music scene as a teenager, going to like all these amazing rave parties with the best DJs in the world. And just my ear became so great because of all these amazing parties that I went to. But yeah, Nicky Scorpio, he mixed and mastered my EAP. So I'm so grateful. Check it out. Hypnotic energy, the Sophisticated Psychos platforms and the music streaming platforms or YouTube, the Sophisticated Psychos. Make sure you subscribed to everything. Follow me on Instagram. My last name Chonacas it's in the show notes and follow the Sophisticated Psychos.
Instagram.
Yeah. The music is, is definitely it's. It's very, it's raw. It's wild. It's it's great. If you're, you know, going through something and want to just release. It's great for meditating. If you're exercising it's it's cool. I'd definitely. I dig it. I, I rock with this. Oh yeah. Congratulations. And, and for all you nonbelievers out there with the, with the sound frequencies, science is talking about this. Now there's studies that talk about how, and you're going to start seeing more with technology. How, you know, there are tech companies that are using frequency for levitation. So buckle in kids. It's going to be a wild ride and, and definitely heal yourself and forgive because there's stuff that you need to forgive.
You're not even aware that you're carrying around and everyone else is feeling it and it's time to let it.
But then people are like, let what? Go let, what go. I know that was me. I'm like this, you know what? Go and let it go. I let it go. I went to Greece. I blah, blah, blah. That's in a couple of podcasts ago. If you want to listen to this one podcast, it was like two or three podcasts ago about forgiveness. I talk about my journey to Greece and how the steps and processes I took to letting go. So you may be like, how do I do that? How do I let go? So definitely check out that podcast on forgiveness that will give you some insight. You can also email me. Imagine Katie at gmail.com. Imagine Katie at gmail.com. If you have questions, concerns, ideas. If you want to know about anything or, you know, reach out to me also, I know you can reach out directly to Nicky Scorpio on his Instagram, yo Nikki Scorpio.
And do you have another way to contact you?
Instagram is definitely the best. I check my DMS and stuff. You can, you can email me. Yo, Nikki Scorpio at gmail.com. Listen, if you, if you need a friend, if you're feeling alone, you know, if, if you're an introvert like me and, and just feel like you're going through stuff and just need a friend, it's always a safe space, always judgment free. I could tell you stories that will blow your minds. I don't, I don't judge. We're all in this together. And sometimes we don't have people in our corner who get us and, you know,
Yeah. Or if you're a multi-millionaire multi-billionaire and you want to be an investor, Nicky has a lot of ideas.
Yes. I have the portfolio of a PowerPoint presentation.
We have, you know, a clothing line coming up here and Nicky is an amazing editor. So if you need a dope editor, a color, he does coloring. If you want to collaborate, if you're a singer songwriter and you want to collaborate on with music, if you want him to write something for you, if you know your producer, you want to, if you are, if you're a artist and you just need some beats, he produces amazing beats. So do I. So if you need, let me now I said, cool beats. I have different than Nicky, but he's totally jacking my staff.
Yeah. So I actually recently I'm gonna do like a cool project release for instrumentals and I've been studying how to incorporate sound frequencies. So yeah, definitely a lot of cool stuff and new releases. So just stay connected with us and we appreciate all the support and love and follows and shares because it, it helps fuel this to algorithms like, oh, other people like this. And so they share it with other people who also like it and other people who like it, but don't know that they like it. So we appreciate you. This is bigger than, than us. And we're grateful. And again, if you ever need to just say, Hey, I'm going through some stuff, Reach out.
Yeah. Yeah. And if there's anyone listening, who does music, licensing, publishing, things like that, you know, our music's available for those reasons as well. And it can reach different platforms and people. So we'd really appreciate that too. Thank you so much for your support subscribe right now. If you're not already. And again, I am here to add value to inspire you, to take massive action. I hope this episode really got your wheels turning. And if it did drop a comment below and let me know the vibes. Cool. We'll see you next week. I appreciate you later. Nicky did a song.
Do you listen to this song?
Name? Our song name. Oh, well you already got though. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. But is that online or no? Oh, we're in set online. Oh my God. Oh my God. We totally need to rerelease itchy on versus on. Those are so good. Yeah. Part of the artist journey, building it up, taking it down, building it up, taking it down. Self-sabotage that's a whole nother podcast episode. Maybe you'll join me on. Self-sabotage why we should do that for an episode.
That's great. I think we
Definitely need to have you back on.
Thank you. I it's always a pleasure. I think that's definitely part two. Yeah. Cause, cause you can, you can talk a good game. You can talk a good game about Manifesting and everything you're going to have. But if you believe you're not worthy of having it, you will go to great lengths without even knowing it to just make sure that you never get what you've always wanted.
I thought, I thought you were going to say, you'd go to Graceland.
I wasn't there. It was pretty cool. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much. Which is the acronym. ABC are always taking care of business, taking care. C T T C be taking care of business. I mean, I should've got those socks while I was there. Anyway. Next time. I'd definitely want to go back to Graceland. That's a great place. Graceland. Okay. All right. That's yeah. Manifesting and Mental Health with Nicky Scorpio last but not least happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy, happy birthday. Dear Nicky Scorpio. Happy, happy birthday to you. And then he many
Thank you. That was very jazzy. I liked that. That was an original. Thank you.
My pleasure. My pleasure. Happy birthday. Love you very much.
My wish is for all of us to do a lot of Manifesting this year. When you listen to this song, I want for you. It's very, very high energy. So what I like to do when I'm listening to it is I will turn it up very loud and I will dance to let go of whatever I'm feeling. If we're feeling angry, if you're feeling happy, when you're listening to it, dancing, get crazy. If you're feeling peaceful, turn it up loud and just breathe to just breathe to it and just visualize everything while you're doing whatever you're doing to this, visualize everything. You've always wanted it and just feel how good it feels to have.
All right. With that being said, we're going to really put on Manifest, right? Nam, no over now. Thank you so much for joining us. We'll see you next time. Kyriaki over and out.
